Raza Baig

Raza has been the head coach of the men’s and women’s tennis programs at Ramapo College for the last 5 years. Prior to being named head coach, he worked as an assistant coach with both programs for two years. As head coach of the men, Baig led the team to three straight GNAC conference championship wins. This year the men earned a trip to the NCAAs for the first time in Ramapo College history. The Men’s overall record stands at 54-17 over the last five years.

The women have come in second in the NJAC conference for the last 5 years.  Their record over that span is 64-17. He was coach of the year in the Njac for the women and gnac for the men for the past two years.

Coach Baig attended Allegheny College where he was a member of the tennis team in both singles and doubles for all four years.  He is a certified professional certified by both the USPTA and the USNTA.  Coach Baig has been teaching professionally and has held camps and clinics for 16 years in the New Jersey area.

Additional staff will consist of current and former college players, high school coaches, college coaches, USPTA and USPTR certified coaches.
